Thank you so much for your interest in my Tig Welding Fundamentals course. The course took over 5 months to create and I have been wanting to do this for a long time.
I came up with the idea of starting a program online about a year ago, as I had been training people in person for a few years and needed a way to give my students the information they needed while I wasn’t there in person to help them. After seeing that this seemed to work well and that doing it on a bigger scale was a possibility, I began to put together a program for more students to take it by distance. I worked with a group of seven students, some from as far as the Middle East, and saw that by checking in and communicating on how the practice sessions were going, they were seeing big results. Arguably, the results they got were better than had I been training them onsite as they were able to access my videos and lessons at any time they wanted.
As I began to scale this idea to a full blown online program, I created an online Facebook group where students would post their work and we could all help each other out, as well as encourage and support each other as everyone went through the program together. When a student enrolls in my program, he or she will have lifetime access to my training videos, as well as the Facebook group. My goal is to have past students online and present in the group to continue to interact and support future students. As well as the training material and access to the Facebook group, I will be working with students by one-on-one communication via private email. Once I view the student’s work by picture or video in the Facebook group, I will give them private feedback through email for each practice session they submit material for in the group. Once a student begins a practice session under my program, you will have two months of contact through private email with me each time they practice. This way I can ensure that a student who has bought my program will get full feedback and suggestions for improvements directly from me, furthering the support and guidance someone will need when working in the welding trade. In addition to all of these resources, a downloadable PDF textbook will be included with each lesson as well. This is just another aspect of my program that someone can take with them to use for reference as much as they want.
Each student will have to provide their own practice space, machine, gas and welding materials. We will be working on 3” x 6” aluminum coupons, 3/16” thick. The material you acquire to practice on does not have to be these exact sizes, but if you can get material close to this size you will be able to follow along exactly with what I’ll be doing in the lessons.
I want to create a community of positivity and support, where a newcomer student can have the best chance of success in learning to Tig Weld. By creating this program and including everything that could help a student out, I am confident that this is something that will offer massive value to someone who is willing to invest the time and finances to learn Tig Welding.
The price for my program was originally set to be $950 USD, but due to the Covid-19 Pandemic I will be reducing the price for a short period until things become more stable for everyone. The course material will be the same for when I begin to charge full price for the program as well as the coaching, so the lower price is certainly an opportunity to get more value out of what I’m offering.
I’m really excited to launch this program. I really appreciate the interest, and I really respect that you’re excited and motivated to learn more in this trade.
